Low-Fat Dessert

Consumption of low fat food means taking reduced quantities of factors that cause heart related risks. Low fat foodlow-fat1 helps to control your cholesterol level & you can live a healthy life. Consuming low fat foods means staying fit & energetic.


Margarine (reduced calorie)- ¼ cup
Brown sugar- ½ cup
Egg- 1 (large)
Egg yolks-2
Skimmed milk (fat free)- 3 tbsp
Flour (all purpose)- 1 cup
Baking powder-1 tsp
Almont extract- 2 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Sugar- ½ cup
Jam (as desired)- 1 cup
Egg white- 4
Lemon juice- 1 tsp
Cloves (ground)- 1/8 tsp


Heat the oven to 375F.
Take a 9×13-inch baking pan & lightly coat with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl take margarine & brown sugar. Beat well
Add remaining ingredients & stir continuously to mix well.
Pour the mixture evenly into the baking pan & bake it for almost 20 minutes.
You can insert a toothpick occasionally to check for the desired thickness.
Use an electric blender or hand blender to beat the egg whites & make it foamy.
Add lemon juice & continue to beat the mixture.
Slowly add sugar and beat continuously. Keep aside.
Diffuse jam all over baked content present in the baking sheet.
Now all over jam layer spread egg whites & bake for about 15-20 minutes (till the frothy mixture turn golden brown).
Remove from oven & let it cool.
Cut into small pieces & keep it in the serving bowl.
