This is an excellent recipe with high fiber content. It is beneficial for colon cancer. It has potential to control the high whole-wheat1blood sugar level and the cholesterol level. Fiber is capable of regular bowel movements which in turn help to reduce the constipation problem.

Ingredients:

1.    Chicken broth (sodium reduced)/ water- 1 ¼ cup
2.    Butter- 1 tbsp
3.    Salt- As per taste
4.    Hot sauce- ½ tsp


5.    Ground pepper- According to taste
6.    Whole wheat couscous- 1 ½ cup
7.    Fresh parsley (minced)- 1 tbsp

Direction:

•    Take a medium size saucepan & mix together water/broth along with the salt, hot sauce & butter.
•    Cover the top firmly & place it on the medium temperature.
•    Now add the couscous & stir well to mix all the ingredients properly.
•    Take it off from the oven & allow it to cool for almost 5-10 minutes.
•    Remove the cover & use the fork to fluff the grains.
•    Sprinkle the parsley along with the pepper & serve.
