Psoriasis
In psoriasis red patches appear on the skin. It’s a non contagious chronic skin disorder. The red patches that appear
over your skin because of psoriasis, it’s quite familiar as psoriatic plaques. It mostly appears on knees, hand, face, elbow etc, but can also happen at genitals as well as scalp. Sometimes people having psoriasis can experience the psoriatic arthritis. It can also damage the lower back, fingers, ankles etc areas.
The exact cause of psoriasis is not identified yet; it can be genetic or can even be instigated by skin injury, weather, sunburn, infection, scratches, allergies, stress, some particular diet, drug reactions etc.
