In US a recent research has been carried by a group of doctors which shows that one out of four parents believe that some of the vaccines given to the children causes autism and thus they avoid those vaccines while the others though aware of the vaccine risks still give their children the required vaccines for their healthy life.
The study was actually based on a survey which was taken on 1,552 parents and the extensive research has found no connection between autism and vaccines.
The leading author of this research Dr. Gary Freed of the University of Michigan said that “Nine out of 10 parents believe that vaccination is a good way to prevent diseases for their children” and he further discussed that “Luckily their concerns don’t outweigh their decision to get vaccines so their children can be protected from life-threatening illnesses”.
This disorder is very common among the children but now a new study has been conducted by analyzing almost 5 million birth rates and it shows that mothers older than 40 are about 50% more likely to have a child with autism as compared to that of a 20 years old woman and for the men the ratio was 36% high while comparing the same age difference. Janie Shelton, the study’s lead author while talking about the study said that “Although fathers’ age can contribute risk, the risk is overwhelmed by maternal age.”
