Steroids are illegal drugs in most of the countries around the world. Only 50 countries allow steroids. The reason of banning steroids is their harmful effect and secondly their excessive use by athletes to improve efficiency and win over the competitions. In a way, competitions won after steroid usage are artificial victories.
Due to the ban imposed upon the usage, it is highly difficult to buy steroids. Only the patients who have the prescription with them, can buy a steroid, otherwise it is crime. The minimum penalty for the guilty is $1000 for the first time, and if it’s a second time, the penalty doubles.
