Because more harmful substances like tar, carbon monoxide and nicotine are present in the smoke which comes from the end of the cigar or cigarette. If an asthma patient undergoes second hand-smoking then he will get wheezing and coughing.
Asthma patients need to stay in smokeless environment and maintain their health condition.
