According to Israeli researchers, women with positive outlook in life have lower risk of developing breast cancer.

The study has been published in the BioMed Central journal and it also finds that being bereaved or getting divorced increase the risk of the cancer as well.

UK experts say that it’s hard to compare emotional stresses in different women.

Some studies suggest that mental outlook plays a role in developing cancer, but this role is still quite controversial.

There are also some studies that claim to find no significant effect of mental outlook on developing the disease.

In the latest study, the researchers examined 255 women with breast cancer who were given a questionnaire to assess their mental outlook and life events and the answers were compared with 367 healthy subjects.

The researchers found that women with positive outlook in life have 25% less chances to develop breast cancer.

Furthermore, the exposure to some traumatic life event like loss of a parent or a spouse increased the risk of developing cancer up to 60%.

Dr Ronit Peled, who led the study, told that women who faced a number of negative events in their lives should have been considered at higher risk for developing breast cancer.

Breast cancer is a complicated disease and it is not likely to occur because of one single cause.
