There are 2 types of cholesterol- LDL (low-density lipoprotein) & HDL-(High-density lipoprotein). LDL cholesterol is called the bad cholesterol. Its found in the blood. It is a high risk factor of heart diseases. This fat (cholesterol) can make stubborn blockages for blood circulation through your heart.
• It can make it more difficult for blood to flow through your heart and body, putting you at increased risk of circulatory problems, heart disease and stroke.
• Stop eating fast food/junk food. It helps to increase the cholesterol level.
• Consume red meat once in a month. You can replace it with chicken or fish.
• Maintain a healthy diet. Consume fresh fruits & vegetables.
• Try to consume fibre.
• Just eliminate the fat product from your diet, like dairy product- consume skimmed milk.
• Avoid oil from your diet. Don’t fry food, try to grill them.
• Start exercising in a daily basis. Just go for walk, do yoga or some free-hand exercises.
• Stop consuming alcohol, it will destroy all your good work.
• Through proper diet & exercise try to reduce your weight.
• You can consult your doctor regarding your problems.
• To make sure about the fat content in your food check the labels on the containers / packets.
• Try to control your sodium intake to about 2400 milligrams a day,
