The stuffy nose problem mostly occurs in winter. But it makes our life miserable, we can’t sleep well, as a result we feel drowsy. We just can’t enjoy the life. So we need the proper remedy. There are a few easy solutions to get back that freshness in your life.


•    Put on a warm compress with hot towel around neck, nose, eyes & cheeks, it can give you some relief.
•    Sometimes hot shower is also a good remedy. You can even cover your head with a towel & take the steam from hot water.
•    To reduce the strength of mucus & increase the process of draining drink lots of fluid.
•    Avoid smoking; even keep distance from people who are doing this (smoking).
•    Stay clear from alcohol consumption, it can make situation worse.
•    Exercise regularly to improve your body strengths (like respiratory system) etc.
•    Vitamin C is an effective remedy against bacterial infections; try to eat foods, which are rich sources of Vitamin C.
•    In few cases you can go for antibiotics also, but discuss with your doctor first.
•    You can even try the age old remedy of saltwater gargling. It will be a great alleviation strategy.
•    You can massage eucalyptus oil on your chest; it will release the mucus easily.
•    Intense use of nasal spray can cause harm, so don’t use too much of over the counter nasal sprays.
•    Lack of humidity (in winter, because of room heater) can cause your present situation so go get a humidifier.
