It has recently published a research paper regarding blood pressure, named as “Use of blood pressure lowering drugs in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.” The UK charity Blood Pressure Association has lately commented on this publication.
According to the UK charity Blood Pressure Association, high blood pressure is the main cause and reason behind many severe conditions like heart attacks and strokes. Being such a threatening condition, high blood pressure must be taken proper care of.
The Executive Director of UK charity the Blood Pressure Association Mike Rich said, “This research is another reminder that, as the major cause of strokes and heart attacks, high blood pressure is a condition that must be taken seriously.”
A suggestion has been made in the research paper that every person over the age of 55 must take medicines for high blood pressure, regardless of being a victim of this condition or not. The UK charity Blood Pressure Association has commented on it as an “interesting suggestion.”
Also, the UK charity Blood Pressure Association has recommended healthy eating habits and regular workout routines to prevent the ailment.
