High fiber diet is beneficial for people suffering from constipation & is also able to lower the risk of diabetes, gallstones burger1etc. It has the potential to maintain a low cholesterol level. A High fiber diet is also an excellent option for obviating the heart ailments. It’s also useful for people who would like to lose their weight.

Ingredients:

1.    Bulgur – 1/3 cups (try to create the centre portion thinner to avoid steaming).

2.    Warm water- ½ cup

3.    Ground beef- 12 ounce (90 % lean)

4.    Salt- As per taste

5.    Watercress leaves – ½ cup (chopped), some extra springs for decoration

6.    Whole wheat buns- 4 (split & toasted)

7.    Crumbled Roquefort cheese- 3 tbsp

8.    Pepper (freshly ground) – ¼ tsp

Direction:

•    Take a medium sized bowl & mix the bulgur along with the warm water.

•    Keep it for almost 30 minutes until it adsorbs the liquid completely & bulgur turns tender.

•    Now preheat the broiler or you can also arrange the grill.

•    In the plumped bulgur add the beef along with the watercress, pepper & salt.

•    Mix all the ingredients well but delicately.

•    Out of the mixture create the eight patties each 3/8 inch thick.

•    To make the stuffed burgers place the cheese between the patties.

•    Broil or grill the patties on the oiled rack (take a folder paper & oil it thoroughly. Now use tongs to hold it & rub on the rack surface).

•    Grill it till it turns brown in colour & is cooked well (you can also allow it to cook 5 minutes each side).

•    Now take it out from the oven & put it on the buns & decorate with the watercress springs.
