What is Tinea Versicolor?

Tinea Veriscolor is a Fungal Infection of Skin, which is identified by the occurrence of rashes on the back and the limbs.

This condition is for a long term but is gentle in nature. It is also known as

  • Pityriasis Versicolor
  • Tinea Flava
  • Dermatomycosis Furfuracea

Symptoms of Tinea Versicolor

This condition is caused by the emergence of small rashes on the surface of Skin. These spots may be small, oval or round in shape. These spots occur on the Oily parts of Skin including back, upper part of Chest and Arms. It may also occur on the face, neck and upper thighs of an individual. The color of these rashes may change depending on the texture of Skin.

What is Synringoma?

It is a non- Cancerous form of Tumor that may develop in the Sweat Glands. The term Syringoma is derived from Greek word “Syrinx”, which means tube. This refers to the Tube shaped Sweat Glands that leads to the growth of Tumor.

Occurrence of Syringoma

This condition may occur accidently due to Somatic or Germline Mutations. In many cases, this mutation is found to be inherited as a dominant trait. About 10 cases are reported in English people.

This disorder may affect the Adolescent and the Preadolescent people of both sexes. This disorder mostly affects the Facial area.

Insomnia is a disorder, in which it is very difficult to maintain or initiate sleep. The sleep is of poor quality and not peaceful.  Insomnia is therefore caused due to insufficient sleep. Insomnia is not characterized by the number of hours of sleep but it varies in the needs and practices.

Classification of Insomnia

Insomnia is classified as follows

  1. Transient Insomnia

    The symptoms of Insomnia lasting less than 1 week are known as Transient Insomnia.

  2. Short-term Insomnia

    The symptoms between 1-3 weeks are known as Short-term Insomnia.

  3. Chronic Insomnia

    Symptoms longer than 3 weeks are known as Chronic Insomnia.
