Kids are great lovers of junk food and they consume a huge amount of junk foods. Kids are unaware of making difference between healthy and unhealthy food, they go for the food items they like and satisfy the most.

The U.S Agencies presented principles for the food industry said on Thursday that food companies should reconsider their marketing strategies in order to advertise the healthy foods for children.

The principles that were presented in the meeting were:

1. The children’s food should have their advertising in the front of the food items; it can contribute to the healthful diet.
2. The children’s food items should contain minimum amount of those ingredients that have negative effect on their health and weight.
